EnerCom Named One of America’s Best Management Consulting Firms by Forbes Magazine
EnerCom: 22 years of advising and serving energy-centric clients
DENVER – April 29, 2016 – Forbes Magazine (Forbes) commissioned an independent study by Statista to identify America’s Best Management Consulting Firms. EnerCom, Inc. was recognized in the inaugural study in the category of Oil and Gas.
Results of the study are based on two online surveys. The first survey was conducted between November 16 and December 18, 2015, of 7,286 partners and project managers from management consultancies. These professionals were asked to make recommendations of consultancies (excluding their own) across 15 industries and 16 functional areas, including strategy, human resources consulting, and supply chain management. The second survey, consisting of 1,316 management consultancy clients, was conducted between January 21 and February 4, 2016. Executives participating in this survey were asked to recommend consultancies on a list falling within industries and functional areas in which they have worked with a consultancy in the last four years.
In any category in which a firm was considered one of the best, it received three, four, or five stars. Any firm receiving a rating of less than three stars was not included in the list.
On April 20, 2016, Forbes published a story online titled “America’s Best Management Consulting Firms.” Beyond being recognized as one of the best, EnerCom was further distinguished as a company with a “Disproportionately High Number of Client Recommendations.”
Gregory B. Barnett, president and founder of EnerCom, said: “This is quite an honor, to be recognized by Forbes as one of America’s best management consulting firms. The professionals at EnerCom are passionate about their work and clients. I’m very proud of the EnerCom team. Their deep understanding of the complexities of the oil and gas sector and the investment community serves us well and delivers advantages for working with our oil-focused client base that trades on every major financial stock market.”
Barnett continued: “Notwithstanding the challenging times in the oil and gas business, I believe the future is bright at EnerCom and for the oil and gas industry. Our professionals are cycle-tested, having delivered top-tier consulting in the previous 22 years during major oil and gas commodity cycles where West Texas Intermediate was priced at $8.00 per barrel and natural gas was sold for less than $0.50 per MMBtu in the Rockies. We know that whether it’s a V-Shape or U-Shape recovery, the spirit of the men and women that work in this great industry remains strong. Oil and gas prices always recover. And when they do, EnerCom and its clients will be stronger for having persevered. We thank our clients for the trust they have in EnerCom, and we look forward to another 22 plus years of working together to be better tomorrow.”
